Implementation of the America Invents Act

Overview

In its continuing effort to develop an innovative and efficient patent law system, Congress requires the Office to submit a report regarding the implementation of the America Invents Act within four years of the AIA’s date of enactment. This report should address the AIA’s affect on the patent system, innovation and competitiveness of U.S. markets, small businesses, and other appropriate issues. The report will also include recommendations by the Director for any changes to laws or regulations.
